The present invention relates to a binder having an improved adhesive force and to a lithium secondary battery comprising the same. The binder for a secondary battery according to the present invention comprises binder polymers composed of the copolymers of: (A) one or more kinds of monomers selected from the group which consists of (meth)acrylic acid ester-based monomers, acrylate-based monomers, vinyl-based monomers, and nitrile-based monomers; (b) unsaturated carboxylic acid-based monomers; and (C) isobornyl (meth)acrylate monomers.
