<p>The present invention relates to a composition for diagnosing neurodegenerative diseases which includes a material for detecting a cholesterol hydroxide derivative to measure the level of cholesterol hydroxide derivative in blood serum, a diagnosis kit including the same, and a method for providing information for diagnosing neurodegenerative diseases. The reduction of the amount of cholesterol hydroxide derivative is found in the sample of patients developing neurodegenerative diseases, thereby the cholesterol hydroxide derivative can be used for checking whether neurodegenerative diseases starts in blood and for diagnosing the level of neurodegenerative diseases in blood with an effective and reproducible method.</p> |
