<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing structure in a vehicle body skeleton for an automobile for improving flexural strength potential of the skeleton, and exhibiting the high restraining effect to cross-sectional collapse. <P>SOLUTION: A reinforcing member 4 arranged on a closed cross section formed by joining an outer panel 2 and an inner panel 3 at their mutual flange parts 2a and 3a, is constituted in a bellows shape by bending and forming a plurality of long size plates extending toward the longitudinal axis direction of a center pillar 1 in a state of mutually separating bellows-shaped projection parts 5 along the short direction of the center pillar 1, a top part of the projection part 5 is joined to a halfway part of the inner panel 3, and both end parts in the short direction of a plate-like part 6 formed between the projection parts 5 in the reinforcing member 4, are interposed between the flange part 2a of the outer panel 2 and the flange part 3a of the inner panel 3, and are joined together with both flange parts 2a and 3a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
