<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment of a machine tool capable of turning a tool mounting portion by using driving force of a spindle of the machine tool and achieving miniaturization. <P>SOLUTION: This attachment 1 of the machine tool includes a linear movement mechanism 20 for linearly moving a sleeve 10, a sleeve connection mechanism 21 for attaching/detaching the sleeve 10 to/from a first rotary shaft 8 and a turning regulation mechanism 22 for regulating turning of a spindle unit 3 connected to the sleeve 10 by attaching/detaching the sleeve 10 to/from an attachment body 4, to turn the spindle unit 3 by utilizing rotary driving force of the spindle of the machine tool. When the sleeve 10 is linearly moved to the spindle unit 3 side, the sleeve connection mechanism 21 connects the sleeve 10 to the first rotary shaft 8 so that the sleeve 10 can be rotated together with the first rotary shaft 8. The turning regulation mechanism 22 releases the connection of the sleeve 10 with the attachment body 4 to release the regulation of the turning of the spindle unit 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
