摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for enhancing communication reliability with reduction of signal interference and a packet collision at multi-hop communication.SOLUTION: A master unit 20 and a plurality of slave units 10 are provided as nodes. The master unit 20 and the plurality of slave units 10 perform multi-hop communication. The slave unit 10 includes: a hybrid slave unit 10 (11) capable of selecting two types of communication methods, i.e. radio communication and power line carrier communication. The hybrid slave unit includes: a selection processing unit for comparing the number of nodes, each having one hop and performing power line carrier communication between with another adjacent hybrid slave unit having one hop, and for selecting a communication method used for a communication path on the upper-level side, which is the master unit 20 side, according to the magnitude of the number of nodes.</p>
