<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring distance to sound source which enables real-time measurement of a distance to a sound source with high accuracy, without depending on a frequency. <P>SOLUTION: The device for measuring distance to sound source is constituted mainly of at least two sound source direction measuring parts 10 and a sound source distance calculating part 20. Each sound source direction measuring part 10 has a plurality of microphones of single directivity and it is so disposed that the sum total of unit vectors turning toward the sensitivity maximum direction of each microphone becomes zero, and is capable of measuring the direction of a sound from the sound source at least. The sound source distance calculating part 20 determines the distance to the sound source by the principle of triangulation, using the directions of the sounds from the sound source measured by the at least two sound source direction measuring parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
