<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inhibitor of subconjunctival fibroblast proliferation, capable of safely and efficiently inhibiting conjunctival synechia and the formation of subconjunctival cicatricial tissue after an ophthalmic operation. <P>SOLUTION: The inhibitor is an inhibitor of subconjunctival fibroblast proliferation using trehalose, and it is also used as an inhibitor of conjunctival synechia or an inhibitor of subconjunctival cicatricial tissue formation especially in the form of eye-drops. In the presence of trehalose at a concentration of not lower than 5%, it can restrain the proliferation of fibroblast more as the concentration is higher, meanwhile, it has utterly no effect on the proliferation of epidermal cells. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
