<p>A child seat has a rod height adjusting mechanism (20) that allows adjustment of a height of a shoulder harness (4) at a backrest. The rod height adjusting mechanism (20) has a slider (21) which holds a harness support rod (23) and which is slidable in the vertical direction, and a rod guiding block (22) that is retained in the slider (21). The harness support rod (23) is placed in and out from a rod holding groove (14) in accordance with the position of the rod guiding block (22) in the slider (21). The harness support rod (23) is released from the rod holding groove (14) together with a movement of the rod guiding block (22), which enables the slider (21) to move up and down, thereby permitting adjustment of the height of the shoulder harness (4).</p> |
