INTERSECTION GUIDANCE SYSTEM, METHOD AND PROGRAM

[TASK] To provide a technology that allows visual recognition, without confusion, of a guide image that provides guidance that is suitable for the degree of approach to a guide intersection. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM] Information on a path of a vehicle is acquired. The travel direction of the vehicle at a guide intersection ahead of the vehicle is acquired on the basis of the information on the path. In the case where the degree of approach of the vehicle to the guide intersection becomes equal to or more than a threshold, the display state on a display section is caused to transition from a first display state to a second display state. In the first display state, the display section is caused to display a guide image that represents the travel direction as superimposed on a portion of a forward scene other than an image of the guide intersection, and the display section is caused to display a connection line image as superimposed on the forward scene, the connection line image connecting between the image of the guide intersection in the forward scene and the guide image. In the second display state, the display section is caused to display the guide image as superimposed on the image of the guide intersection in the forward scene.
