The present invention relates to a fluorescent body, which can be used for an LED, and to a method for forming the same. More specifically, a glass coated fluorescent device is manufactured to be in the shape of a cube after bulking and cutting the fluorescent body. The fluorescent device is used instead of the prior fluorescent body. Therefore, decrease of packing conversion efficiency can be prevented by reducing scattering loss.
