Hinge having first hinge part (3, Fig 1) for securing to a moveable panel e.g. shower door, second hinge part (5, Fig 1) for securing to a fixed structure and a hinge pin 7, the first and second parts moveable about a hinge axis, the hinge having at least one over-close (57, Fig. 2), self-close (59, Fig 2) and/or soft close (61, Fig. 2) mechanism. The over-close mechanism acts to keep the panel shut and may comprise spring 65 for biasing roller 67 against channel 71 in hinge pin housing 47. Preferably the channel 71 is slightly off-centre so that the rest position of the door is past the parallel position to compress shower seals against door. The self-close mechanism acts to close the panel from an open position, and may comprise a spring 81 to bias pad 79 against cam portion 85 of the hinge pin 7. The soft-close mechanism acts to damp the motion of the panel, and may comprise a hydraulic piston 93 and pad 91 for interacting with cam portion 97 of the hinge pin 7.
