An embodiment of the present invention discloses a plant for recycling plies and rubber of tyres, comprising at least a first device (100) which comprises a breaker roller (125) provided with tapered projections (130); a casing (115) for accommodating and cladding the breaker roller (125); a bin (105) communicating with the internal volume of the casing (115) and able to be loaded with a material containing rubber bonded to the plies of tyres; a mobile pusher (140) able to push the material internally of the casing (115) against the breaker roller (125); and at least a sieve (150) located vertically below the breaker roller (125). A further embodiment further provides a method and a plant for manufacturing products made of insulating material (P), using for example the plies of tyres separated by means of the preceding plant.
