The present invention provides a thermoelectric material, and more specifically, to a thermoelectric material having excellent thermoelectric transformation characteristic and to a method for producing the same. According to the present invention, the thermoelectric material includes Cu and Se, and crystallization forming Cu and Se has multiple different crystallization structures at a specific temperature.
