The method involves introducing cement in a compressed cavity of flexible compressed cavity mold (1). The flexible mold is expanded by the inflowing cement and the cement is filled into the mold cavity, until the cavity is expanded to a final state. The cavity defining the shape of the spacer is formed at final stage. The cement in the cavity is removed after curing of the cement formed from the spacers of the mold. The spacers are removed from the cavity mold, after curing the cement in the cavity. An independent claim is included for cavity mold for producing spacer for inserting placeholder for joint endoprosthesis. |
