<p>The present invention provides a method for producing a compressed wood product with which it is possible to produce, with simple and brief steps, a compressed wood product that is thin, has high strength, and does not lose the texture thereof as a wooden material. The method for producing a compressed wood product according to the present invention involves: a heating-and-compressing step (step S3) of heating and compressing, with a pair of molds, a blank material consisting of a bowl-shaped wood material together with a thermosetting-resin monomer or oligomer, and thereby forming a compressed wood material and impregnating same with said thermosetting-resin monomer or oligomer; and a reaction step (step S4) of polymerizing and/or cross-linking the thermosetting resin with which the compressed wood material has been impregnated by further raising the temperature of said molds while retaining the compressed state of the compressed wood material with said pair of molds after said heating-and-compressing step.</p> |
