<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiant tube burner capable of completely combusting a combustion gas while securing an ignition property and a flame stabilizing property of a surface combustion burner. <P>SOLUTION: The radiant tube burner 1 comprises the surface combustion burner 10 which performs combustion on the surface of a combustion body 12, a radiant tube 2 arranged at the external peripheral side of the surface combustion burner 10, and a heat transfer tube 3 extended from the radiant tube 2. The radiant combustion burner 10 comprises the combustion body 12 having a gas flow-out hole 122 at the external peripheral side face of a cylinder 121, and a gas pipe 13 for circulating a mixed gas Gm. The surface combustion burner 10 comprises an air nozzle 14 arranged at the tip of the combustion body 12 and having an air injection port 142, and an air pipe 15 which communicates with the air injection port 142 and circulates air.
