<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for diagnosing insulation of a ground coil and an apparatus thereof capable of diagnosing the insulation on an actual load condition without removing ground coils at the site and efficiently evaluating a large number of the ground coils. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for diagnosing insulation of a ground coil, a plurality of antennas 3, 4 for electromagnetic wave detection are installed in the vicinity of a ground coil 1 laid on a track of a magnetic levitation railway at a predetermined interval set in advance, detection signals from these antennas 3, 4 are taken-in an information processing unit 5, and the insulation of the ground coil 1 is diagnosed by measuring waveform of an electromagnetic wave and signal strength due to partial discharge of the ground coil 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
