<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ventilation structure and a building capable of improving ventilation performance. <P>SOLUTION: A ventilation part 30 includes an inner wall material 34, an outer wall material 36, a spandrel wall upper sash 38 which covers space between the upper end of the inner wall material 34 and the upper end of the outer wall material 36 and has a through-hole 38b, a cap piece member 42 which covers the inner wall material 34, the outer wall material 36 and the spandrel wall upper sash 38, a first ventilation part 46 formed by them, a throating member 44 disposed at the first ventilation part 46, and a second ventilation part 48 formed at the spandrel wall upper sash 38. In the ventilation part 30, water is removed by the throating member 44 and outside air flows into the first ventilation part 46. Then, the outside air which flows into the first ventilation part 46 flows through the second ventilation part 48 and flows into an internal space 51. Thus, compared to the configuration having a ventilation path turning to the inside of the building bypassing the outer side of the upper sash, a ventilation route is turned to simple structure and the length of the ventilation route becomes short.
