<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that does not require a heating medium passage formed in a casting mold and properly heats the casting mold by a relatively simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: This method for heating a casting mold includes: a contact step S16 of bringing a heat transfer member prepared by a step S12 into contact with at least part of a cavity-forming surface of the casting mold; and a heating step S18 of heating the heat transfer member in a cavity. In the contact step, the heat transmission member is brought into contact with the cavity-forming surface of the casting mold. In the heating step, the heat transfer member is heated. The casting mold is heated through the transfer of the heat of the heated heat transfer member to the casting mold. The heat transfer member includes a plurality of parts each having a different heat transfer capacity transferred to the casting mold and can apply a fibrous carbon as a surface application agent, to the cavity-forming surface in a process of heating the casting mold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
