<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin cured product, a transparent composite substrate, and a display element substrate having a low coefficient of humidity expansion and a low coefficient of water absorption and excellent in transparency and heat resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The resin cured product is obtained by curing a resin composition including an alicyclic epoxy resin and a cationic curing agent, wherein the rate of epoxy ring opening is 85-96%. Preferably, a glycidyl type epoxy resin and the alicyclic epoxy resin are simultaneously used as the epoxy resin.
