MOBILE TERMINAL AND APPLICATION PROGRAM MANAGEMENT METHOD THEREOF

An application management method for a mobile terminal is disclosed. The method comprises: acquiring all information of applications that have been installed or upgraded in the mobile terminal; determining whether each of the applications has a desktop widget; and if the determination result is "yes", then displaying an icon corresponding to an application having the desktop widget in an icon list in a first displaying manner. In this way, the user can accomplish the operation of adding the desktop widget of the application directly in the system application main menu without having to enter into the widget list. The present disclosure is simple and convenient to use and provides the user with good experience in use.
