<p>A method and an apparatus (100, 110, 150, 160, 700) for loudness control at audio rendering of an audio signal. The apparatus (100, 110, 150, 160, 700) obtains (201) information informing about different circumstances associated with a present context of the audio rendering. Further, the apparatus (110, 150, 160) determines (204), based on the obtained information, one or more parameters associated with the present context. The apparatus (100, 110, 150, 160, 700) then provides (205) the determined one or more parameters to an audio rendering circuitry (140) configured to control loudness of the audio rendering of the audio signal based on the one or more parameters. Automatic or semi-automatic adaptation of loudness at audio rendering of the audio signal is enabled as well as implementation in many existing type of devices, such as smart phones.</p> |
