FLOW DIVIDING DEVICE FOR A CONDENSATION STEAM TURBINE HAVING A PLURALITY OF OUTLETS

The device has a flow divider (5) that divides total steam current passing through capacitors (14,15) in exhaust casing (2) into two vapor streams. A stagnation point detector is provided for localization, when dividing steam total current forming congestion point with respect to flow divider leading edge (6). The cooling medium splitting units (21,22) are arranged to control cooling medium supply (23) to capacitors depending on location of stagnation point, while preventing flow separation at stagnation point divider, so that stagnation point is located centrally.
