<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The register (201) has a flow channel (217) formed such that flue gasses are thermally supplied to a heat exchanger (218). Another flow channel (224) is formed such that the flue gasses are thermally supplied from a part of the heat exchanger. The latter flow channel is connected with a pipe nozzle (209) and a flue gas inlet (211) by a regulating flap (222) and a through hole (231) and sectionally separated from the pipe nozzle and the flue gas inlet. The regulating flap and the through hole are selectively attached by movement mechanisms in an open position and a closed position. #CMT# : #/CMT# A channel section is lined with a heat storing material i.e. fire clay brick. The movement mechanisms are a handle, a pivoting axle, a pivoting arm, a pivoting joint, a bimetallic part, a bearing, a wire, and a temperature sensor. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Pre-heater register for a room heating system e.g. tiled stove and fireplace stove, in a residential building. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The regulating flap and the through hole are selectively attached by the movement mechanisms in the open position and the closed position, thus avoiding cooling of the flue gasses flowing through the heat exchanger so that undesired shortfall of the dew point of the flue gases in the fireplace stove during the risk of sooting, is counteracted, and reducing the space required for the heating system.
