This invention is for a direction finder that can find the direction of multiple sources 5 with multiple frequencies simultaneously. The technique involves having an antenna array 8 that comprises multiple antennas 9. These are then connected to a direction finding module 6. The module then takes the signals 2 from each of the sources and generates a plurality of DF signals, where each signal corresponds to a respective antenna or antennas. It then uses these signals to generate a plurality of DF spectra, where each spectrum corresponds to a respective signal. It then determines the incident signal angle for each frequency based on the measured value of the power at each frequency, the configuration of the antenna in the antenna array and the antenna gain patterns that correspond to the antenna array elements. |
