PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of being manufactured at a low manufacturing cost, and offering a high packing density of graphite and stable quality.SOLUTION: The negative electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises a negative electrode collector, and a negative electrode active material layer on the negative electrode collector. The negative electrode active material layer contains flaky graphite made by graphitization of needle coke, granular graphite made by graphitization of coke, and a binder. |
