<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for automatically preforming a box having a triangular top surface flap, to achieve space saving. <P>SOLUTION: The method for preforming a box comprises the steps of: extracting each of box sheet materials 100 by using a sucking/holding part 2 from a magazine 120 housing the box sheet materials 100 with the top of the top surface flap upside; turning the sucking/holding part 2 around a horizontal shaft 25 in the vertical plane to move the box sheet material 100 to a bending station Q and bend the first and second top surface flap pairs 102a, 102b, 103a, 103b of the box sheet material 100 inward; and turning the sucking/holding part 2 in the vertical plane to introduce the box sheet material into an intermediate position between the magazine 120 and the bending station Q on the conveying surface of a bucket conveyor 15 below the magazine 120 and the bending station Q with the top of the top surface flap of the box sheet material 100 facing the conveying direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
