<p>The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting the aging of umbilical vein endothelial cells, containing, as an active ingredient, an Inula japonica thunberg extract or quercetagetin 3,4′-dimethyl ether isolated therefrom and represented by chemical formula 1, and provides a pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting the aging of umbilical vein endothelial cells induced by Adriamycin. As such, the composition of the present invention can be useful to treat diseases, such as age-related diseases including skin aging, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, hepatitis, chronic skin tissue damage, arteriosclerosis, prostatic hyperplasia, and liver cancer, by inhibiting the cell aging process of human umbilical vein endothelial cells. Further, the composition of the present invention is expected to be used for the development of a functional anti-aging food, a vessel anti-aging drug, and cosmetics, which can inhibit cell aging.</p> |
