<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effective use of metakaolin in paper sludge ash and coal ash and a device for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The method is for recycling metakaolin, which is a major component of ash and has been treated as an industrial waste, based on the principle of producing a whitened uniform composite material of metakaolin and an organic substance by washing metakaolin in PS ash and coal ash and adding a ferroelectric organic molecule. The composite material of metakaolin and an organic substance is used as a substitution to kaolin which is a natural stone used generally as a filler for paper making and a pigment for coating. By-products such as a deinking auxiliary agent, a dispersant, aluminum sulfate and an absorbent are possibly produced. Further, unslaked lime and aluminum sulfate are mixed to produce a composite of calcium oxide, aluminum oxide and calcium sulfate for manufacturing an environmentally friendly coated paper with excellent whiteness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
