In the present invention, an aromatic iodide compound is produced by adding an aromatic compound and an iodine component to a top layer part of a zeolite catalyst layer to be passed into air, wherein the zeolite catalyst layer consists of two or more continuous layers. A method for producing an aromatic iodide compound can increase the selectively and productivity of a paradiiodine compound and simultaneously minimize non-reacted iodine and aromatic materials.
