<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To favorably detect a failure of the transmitting function of a mobile station and control the message transmission. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile station 1 includes: a transmission section 20 that transmits a transmitting message to a base station; reception monitoring sections 10 and 31 that monitor a receiving message transmitted from the base station; a failure determining section 32 that determines a failure of the transmission section 20 in accordance with a monitoring result of the receiving message; and a transmission controlling section 33 that controls frequency of transmission of the transmitting message by the transmission section 20. The failure determining section 32 determines that a transmitting message transmitted by the transmission section 20 has failed in a predetermined sequence (i) when a receiving message corresponding to the predetermined sequence is not received in respond to the transmitted message, and that there is a failure in the transmission section 20 (ii) when a series of failures occur in the predetermined sequence for the base station. If it is determined that there is a failure in the transmission section 20, the transmission controlling section 33 reduces the frequency of transmission of the transmitting message by the transmission section 20 to be lower than a predetermined frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
