A wireless communication apparatus comprises: a time division control unit (9a) that allocates, to a plurality of wireless communication systems of mutually different wireless communication standards using an identical frequency band, communication periods, which last during respective predetermined unused time intervals, such that the communication periods of the wireless communication systems do not overlap each other, thereby causing the wireless communication systems to perform time division communications; and a diagnosing unit (9b) that performs a trouble diagnosis of the wireless communication systems on the basis of a result that the wireless communication system in an unused time interval detects radio waves from the wireless communication system in a communication period. |
