A system for sealing at least one suction box (3), which adjoins a moving roll sleeve (2) of a suction roller (1) in a machine for producing or processing a fibrous web, such as a paper, tissue or cardboard machine, comprises at least two sealing strips (4) which lie in a sealing manner against the moving roll sleeve (2) via a sealing surface (24) in each case. In the region of the sealing surfaces (24) of the at least two sealing strips (4) and/or on the at least two sealing strips (4) and/or in the at least two sealing strips (4), at least one device (5) for discharging a lubricant (6) coating the at least two sealing strips (4) is provided in each case, said at least one device (5) having a supply line (7) connected thereto, through which the lubricant (6) can be supplied and wherein a separate supply line (7) is provided for each of the devices (5) of the at least two sealing strips (4). The devices (5) for discharging the lubricant (6) are each arranged such that the lubricant (6) can be applied on the run-in side to the at least two sealing strips (4) and, by rotation of the roll sleeve (2), can be transported onto the sealing surfaces (24). |
