<p>Storage compartment system 1 for a vehicle, with a storage compartment for storing items and with a flexible and/or pliable storage compartment cover 6 to cover or to allow access to the storage compartment, wherein the storage compartment cover 6 can bechanged from an open position (O, Fig. 2), in which the storage compartment is open, to a closed position (S, Fig. 4), in which the storage compartment is closed, wherein the storage compartment cover 6 has a closure section (7, Fig. 2), which completely covers the storage compartment in the closed position (S, Fig. 4), wherein the storage compartment cover 6 has a retaining section 8 and can be changed to a holding position (H, Fig. 3), in which the retaining section 8 covers the storage compartment, wherein the retaining section 8 is designed to hold at least one beverage container (9, Fig. 3) in the storage compartment. The retaining section 8 may have flexible tabs 12 that accommodate the cup or bottle. The cover 6 may be constructed from a slatted roll, guided along channels 14, 15, and may have a catch for limiting movement to a single direction.</p> |
