<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably focus to a desired position by a user according to the setting of a resolution area in a diorama-like image photography. <P>SOLUTION: A system control section 112 sets a plurality of focus detection areas according to the size of a resolution area to an image area stipulated by the image data including a subject image when a focal position for a focus lens 104 is detected by setting a blur area for applying a blur process to an image area stipulated by the image data including the subject image and a resolution area for not applying the blur processing. The system control section obtains a peak position in the focus detection area where a high range frequency component in the peak position is a pre-stipulated threshold or more by obtaining the peak position where the high range frequency component for luminance signal included in the image data is made maximum in respective focus detection areas according to the position of the focus lens while driving a focus lens from a prescribed driving start position to a driving termination position by controlling an AF process section 105. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
