<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for saving the labor for operation to specify a virtual machine having caused trouble. <P>SOLUTION: In a virtual environment management system according to the present invention, an information gathering server periodically acquires and stores both an operation state of a virtual machine and an operation state of a storage device stored with image data of the virtual machine in an operation information database.
