摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a failure in an electric motor with high accuracy and to reduce a probability of falsely detecting a failure of an electric motor in a normal condition. <P>SOLUTION: A hydraulic control device (60) for a four-wheel drive vehicle controls operation of a clutch (10) for front-rear torque distribution by hydraulic pressure supplied from an oil pump (35) that is driven by a motor (electric motor) (37). In hydraulic control device (60), the motor failure determination means for determining a failure of the motor (37) calculates a motor drive current integrated value (Is) to be obtained by integrating a drive current value (I) of the motor (37) from a failure detection start time (t2) of the motor (37), and also, increases a threshold (Ith) for motor failure determination by a predetermined proportion.
