<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an axle case, which can reduce heat effect in a periphery of a joint part and can improve quality of a joining fitting, in diffusion-bonding an FCD material and a steel material having a rectangular shape in cross section while thickening. <P>SOLUTION: An inductor 20 formed of a one-turn coil having a rectangular shape is arranged so as to cover an outer circumference of the joint part 12. The joint part 12 is induction-heated by the inductor 20, and first diffusion bonding of the joint part 12 is carried out while performing upset processing for increasing a thickness of the joint part 12 by pressing the joint part 12 in an axial direction, and then the joint part is cooled. Thereafter, in order to induction-heat a low-temperature heating region 43 in a position of a feeding lead part 41 of the inductor 20, the inductor 20 is rotated by 180°or 90°around axial cylinders 10, 11 and is rearranged to carry out second diffusion bonding of the joint part 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
