<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability of a recording device when the frame rate of video is changed. <P>SOLUTION: A recording device comprises: mode setting means for setting a recording mode in which video data obtained by imaging means is repeatedly stored in a predetermined storage area of a memory until an instruction to start recording is given, and in response to the instruction to start recording, reading of video data stored in the memory is started from video data captured a predetermined recording time before; and frame rate setting means for setting the frame rate of video data to be output from the imaging means. The recording device controls setting of the frame rate by the frame rate setting means in the recording mode so that a recording time when the video data with the frame rate to be set is recorded in the predetermined storage area of the memory in the recording mode set by the mode setting means does not become shorter than the predetermined recording time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
