<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve motor characteristics by reducing non-opposing magnetic fluxes of a stator and a rotor of an axial gap motor without adding a new member. <P>SOLUTION: A stator 5 has stator cores 8 each formed into a shape of a fan with its center part cut off. Each of rotors 4a and 4b has rotor cores 12 that are formed similarly to the stator cores 8. At least one of each of the stator cores 8 and each of the rotor cores 12 is tapered at its radially inner side where there is a narrow space between adjacent cores by being flexed inward to extend the space between the adjacent cores. Thus, non-opposing magnet fluxes of the stator 5 and the rotors 4a and 4b are reduced, and motor characteristics are improved, without adding a new member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
