<p>Loading beds (12) attached to the tails of trucks (10) are stressed by means of deflection when loading the truck (10). In the case of hydraulically operated loading beds (12), said stress is prevented by means of a so-called float position of the hydraulic cylinder. In the case of loading beds (12) having mechanical linear actuators, such as threaded spindles, there must be brakes which may not be continually engaged during the loading of the truck (10) as the loading platform (15) could then unintentionally lower. According to the invention, movements of the loading platform (15) and/or the guide arms (17) during the loading of the truck (10) are detected by inclination sensors (24, 25) on the loading platform (15) and the brakes of the linear actuators are temporarily engaged when specified thresholds are exceeded. Mechanical linear actuators are thus relieved during the loading of the truck (10) - similar to the float position of hydraulic cylinders - in accordance with legal regulations.</p> |
