<p>The present invention discloses an apparatus and a method for signal transmission. The apparatus is used to transmit a signal for upgrading and/or repairing a terminal, is applicable to a communication system which comprises software and the terminal, and comprises: a downloading panel control module, configured to transmit a data packet from the software to the terminal, and to transmit the signal from the software according to whether a response data packet corresponding to the data packet is received from the terminal; and a protocol conversion module, configured to receive the signal from the downloading panel control module, to convert the signal into a joint test action group (JTAG) signal, and to transmit the converted JTAG signal to the terminal. The present invention improves the efficiency of version upgrading.</p> |
