Simultaneous editing/accessing of content by collaborator invitation through a web-based or mobile application to a cloud-based collaboration platform

Techniques are disclosed for a web or mobile interface enabling users 206, 208 to simultaneously comment or edit content 215, 235 in real time or near real time managed by a cloud-based collaboration platform 250. The data to be accessed concurrently is presented or depicted at the multiple physical devices 202 to the users for viewing and accessing the data in real time or near real time. Each of the users is able to view, re-edit, or re-modify in a concurrent fashion, at their own physical device. Any edits or modifications made to the data in real time or near real time are visible to all users accessing the data at their respective physical devices. The method may comprise a first and second graphical user interface (GUI) (fig 10, 1001, 1002) for a folder and modification of the data respectively.
