PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having excellent exudation prevention effect of a liquid.SOLUTION: This absorbent article 1 includes: an vertically elongated body part 5 including a front face sheet, a rear face sheet, and an absorber disposed between both the sheets; and a pair of wing parts 6, 6 extending from both the side edges of the body part. The wing part is formed by use of a wing part formation material 62 separate from the front face sheet 2 and the rear face sheet. In the wing part formation material, one side edge 63 side positioned on the body part side is disposed on the front face sheet, and the other side edge 64 side extends outside the side edges of the front face sheet and the rear face sheet. The wing part formation material includes a liquid impermeable film and a nonwoven fabric laminated thereon, and the laminated liquid impermeable film and nonwoven fabric are integrally joined on the front face sheet in a state that the film side is directed to the front face sheet side. |
