<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter member for connector which can ensure a sufficient ventilation volume although the occupied space is small, and is less likely to be damaged by touching a sharp member. <P>SOLUTION: The filter member 50 includes a housing 51 having one open end 52, and the other sealed end 53. The housing 51 includes a pair of walls 51a, 51b in the width direction, and a pair of walls 51c, 51d in the thickness direction. A ventilation passage 55 is formed in the housing 51 in the axial direction thereof. The ventilation passage 55 has one end continuous to the open end 52 of the housing 51, and the other end stopping at the sealed end 53 of the housing 51. A ventilation window 56 having a circular outer periphery is formed in the wall 51a of the housing 51 in the width direction.
