PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolled foil having folding resistance higher than that of a conventional copper or copper alloy rolled foil.
SOLUTION: A copper or copper alloy rolled foil is characterized in that the thickness is <200μm, and the ratio (Lσ/L) of the special grain boundary length Lσto the total crystal grain boundary length L measured by an EBSD method is≥60%. A method for producing the copper or copper alloy rolled foil includes a hot rolling process of a copper or copper alloy ingot and a cold rolling process after the hot rolling process. The cold rolling process comprises performing rough cold rolling and annealing treatment for removing strain caused by the cold rolling, and thereafter performing finish rolling and heat treatment so that the total rolling ratio, calculated from the sheet thickness before the rough cold rolling and the foil thickness after the finish rolling, becomes 93% or more and the thickness of the rolled foil becomes 200μm or less. In the finish rolling and heat treatment, the rolled foil is partially recrystallized by performing finish cold rolling under such a condition that the rolling-reduction ratio is 5-25%, and performing a finish recrystallization heat treatment under such conditions that when the recrystallization temperature of a material to be processed is defined as Ts(°C), the heat treatment temperature Ta(°C) is higher than (Ts-150) and lower than (Ts+150) and the heat treatment time is 5 to 3,600 s.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
|
