The present invention relates to a nacelle cooling apparatus of a wind power generator and a control method thereof, wherein the nacelle cooling apparatus comprises: a nacelle having a pair of side covers installed to be capable of being separated externally; actuation cylinders installed on both front sides and both rear sides in the nacelle respectively, and allowing the respective side covers of the nacelle to be separated externally; and a control unit installed in the nacelle, and controlling the actuation of the respective actuation cylinders. According to the present invention, the side covers of the nacelle are capable of being separated when a temperature in the nacelle is high, so each actuation component in the nacelle can be quickly and naturally cooled through external wind blowing toward blades without an extra cooling fan. |
