Disclosed is a method, system, and program for providing access to spatial data. A request for data is received. Enterprise and third party data are integrated. The integrated data is processed. Spatially referenced results are generated using the processed data. The spatially referenced results are returned in response to the request.

1. A method for manipulating a composite image, comprising:
under control of a first computer including a processor,
retrieving data layers from a second computer including a processor, wherein the retrieved data layers are stored at the first computer;displaying a list of data layers;receiving a selection of two or more of the displayed data layers;in response to determining that the selected two or more of the displayed data layers are stored at the first computer; forming a first composite image from the selected two or more of the displayed data layers;receiving a different selection of two or more of the displayed data layers;in response to determining that a new data layer does not need to be retrieved from the second computer, forming a second composite image from the different selection of the two or more of the displayed data layers stored at the first computer; andin response to determining that a new data layer is to be retrieved from the second computer,
retrieving the new data layer from the second computer, wherein the retrieved new data layer is stored at the first computer; andforming a third composite image from the different selection of two or more of the displayed data layers stored at the first computer.
