PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot which improves the safety even when operated in a non-observation region where observation is not conducted, and to provide a control method of the robot.SOLUTION: A robot according to the invention operates while observing a surrounding environment. The robot includes: environment information obtaining means which obtains environment information around the robot; and control means which reduces a driving force of the robot when the robot is operated in a non-observation region where the environment information is not obtained by the environment information obtaining means. |
