PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic latent image development that has an excellent heat-resistant storage property and low-temperature fixability, and can suppress the occurrence of offset when fixing is performed at a high temperature.SOLUTION: A toner for electrostatic latent image development of the present invention includes toner particles each consisting of a toner core including a binder resin and a shell layer coating the surface of the toner core. The binder resin includes a polyester resin having a predetermined mass average molecular weight and molecular weight distribution. The shell layer is composed of a resin including a unit derived from a monomer of a thermosetting resin, and a unit derived from a thermoplastic resin. As a monomer of the thermosetting resin, monomers of one or more thermosetting resins are used, which are selected from the amino resin group consisting of a melamine resin, urea resin, and glyoxal resin. |
